Module 2 delves into makeup techniques and application, with a focus on foundation and skin preparation in Week 3, and contouring and highlighting in Week 4. Students will learn how to prepare the skin for makeup application, choose the right foundation for different skin types, and master the art of contouring and highlighting under various lighting conditions.


Week 5 and 6 delve into eye, lip, and cheek makeup techniques, with students learning how to create various eye looks, apply lipstick and blush, and match lip and cheek colors to the overall makeup look. Special effects makeup is covered in Week 7, with students learning how to create bruises, cuts, and other effects.


Module 4 focuses on artistic vision and collaboration, with students developing their understanding of the makeup artist's role in the creative process and learning how to collaborate effectively with film staff. Week 8 delves into developing artistic vision, while Week 9 covers collaboration with the Director of Photography and other film staff.


Adaptability and problem-solving skills are the focus of Module 5, with students learning how to adjust makeup under changing lighting conditions, manage time effectively on set, and handle quick makeup changes and touch-ups. Week 10 also covers working in a fast-paced environment, with students engaging in simulated fast-paced scenarios and practical drills.


Module 6 focuses on professional development and communication, with students enhancing their communication skills, developing multitasking and coordination abilities, and learning how to effectively collaborate with cast and crew. Module 7 introduces students to advanced makeup techniques, including exploring trends, creating complex looks, and applying various makeup styles.


In the final module, students will work on a Capstone Project, applying everything they have learned throughout the course to a final project that will be presented and evaluated by peers and mentors. The course concludes with feedback and a wrap-up of the program, preparing students for a successful career in the film makeup industry.
